Annapurna and Mustang

Annapurna region is one of the most diverse also most sorted trekking destination in Nepal. With plenty of trekking route from short hike to long and wilderness trek, Annapurna region gives an ample opportunity to every kind of trekkers. This region consist of the range of mountains that includes Annapurna I, the first of the 8,000 m peaks to be climbed. Also included in this region is another 8,000 m giant, Dhaulagiri, which is located west of Annapurna I and other 9 mountains over 7000 meters.
Between these two mountains lies the valley of the Kali-Gandaki River, the deepest gorge in the world. It’s a region of stunning diversity, ranging from the sodden bamboo forests of the southern slopes (Lumle, northwest of Pokhara, is the wettest village in Nepal) to windswept desert (Jomosom, in the northern rain shadow, is  driest). 

Views of lush, fertile farmland and undisturbed natural forest, snow covered mountains, and encounters with a mixture of many ethnic communities, all add up to a diverse range of experiences that make this area one of the most satisfying trekking destinations in Nepal.
